2008 Green Bay Packers Season Tickets Waiting List Update Post Favregate

The Brett Favre Green Bay Packers Saga or Favregate as we like to call it has ended. Brett Favre will likely put on his new, New York Jets Jersey and continue his winning ways and leadership role in NYC.

That leaves the Pack in an awful mess doesn't it? Not really.

Packer fans are astonishingly loyal. Lambeau Field is and will continue to be sold out for every game, and the waiting list for season tickets will continue to grow beyond the normal life expectancy of anyone who has applied. 2008 Seattle Seahawks Blue Pride Season Tickets Waiting List

The Seattle Seahawks home opener for the 2008 season at Qwest Field will be against the 49ers on September 14. 2009 San Diego Chargers Season Ticket Waiting List

The San Diego Chargers halted the sale of season tickets on July 18, 2008 and announced the creation of a season ticket waiting list for the second consecutive year. Fans on the Chargers Waiting List will be sold season tickets on a first-come, first-served basis if season tickets become available next season. The waiting list totaled some 1,000 fans in 2007. The rumor is that the Chargers wait list has grown some 15% to nearly 1,200 in 2008. 2008 Premiership Season Ticket Sales and Waiting List Updates

A Premiership season ticket sales survey was recently conducted by Channel 4 News Online from the UK:

The media department of every football club in the Premiership and Championship was contacted and asked about their season ticket sales thus far and the availability of season tickets for 2008-2009. The results are season ticket sales as of the week July 21, 2008. The new Championship season kicks off on August 9, 2008, with the Premiership starting on August 16, 2008. It looks like every football club in the Premiership will meet or excede last years season ticket sales figures.

2008 Beijing Olympics Ticket Sales Phase 4 Guide

From the official 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing website:

The Beijing 2008 Olympic ticket general public sales Phase 4 will be launched on 25 July 2008, and there will be 820,000 tickets on sale. After the sale is launched, the general public can only purchase the tickets at the venue box offices within the business hours. Please see more details of the list of the venue box office location. Please read the following policy and procedure carefully before you purchase your tickets.

•Regular business hours
Starting from the 25th July, from 9am to 18pm, the general public can purchase the tickets that are released until the tickets are sold out.

•Beijing main box office (main box office)
The main box office is located at the south east corner of the intersection square of subway No. 8 and 10. It is on the north side of Beitucheng Road, and west side of the public transportation parking space. The tickets of the sessions to be hosted in the venues of:

National Stadium
National Aquatics Center
National Indoor Stadium
Fencing Hall of National Convention Center
Beijing Wukesong Sports Center Baseball Field

will be sold at the main box office.


•Box offices at other Beijing venues
Every other box office at other Beijing venues will only sell tickets of the sessions to be hosted in that venue; detail of the sessions on sale will be announced. These venues include the following:

•Purchase limit
Phase 4 public sale is only open to the domestic general publics, and corporate purchase will not be accepted. Each purchaser will only be allowed to purchaser 2 tickets of 1 session maximum for 1 transaction.


•Payment method
General public will be able to pay for the tickets with Visa card or cash. BOCOG accepts the following card types: A. International Visa card and Visa Electron card issued by financial institutions that are registered in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, or financial institutions outside China; B. International Visa card duo-currency card and Visa Electron duo-currency card issued within the People's Republic of China; and International Visa card single-foreign-currency card and Visa Electron single-foreign-currency card issued within the People's Republic of China. Please verity whether your card is acceptable according to the following logos.

•Refund and ticket change
Once the ticket purchase is confirmed, BOCOG will not give any refund or change due to any personal reason of the purchaser. If a session is cancelled before it starts, and will not take place at a later time, purchasers can apply refund with the well protected tickets within 3 months after the Olympic Games. There will be no refund process at the venue.

The purchaser takes the responsibility of securing the tickets, and BOCOG will not be responsible for the lost and damaged tickets.

•Invoice
Purchasers can ask the box office staff to provide the invoice if it is needed, or pick up the tickets at the local taxation office with the purchased tickets. Purchasers can ask the box office staff or local taxation office for more information on invoice.

•Ticketing Website and the Ticketing Call Center
The official ticketing website of the BEIJING 2008 Olympic Games and the Beijing Olympic Ticketing Call Center will provide information service only, and will not sell tickets and take payments.

The number of season ticket seats that get surrendered each year is tiny though, about a dozen to 15, according to the Eagles. Since those on the waiting list are entitled to two seats, that number probably means fewer than 10 people graduate off the waiting list each year, the Eagles say. Arizona Cardinals Season Ticket Waiting List Decreasing

According to the Arizona Republic, the Arizona Cardinals Season Ticket Waiting List has decreased from last year:

"Sales aren't that far behind 2006 and 2007, when the team sold its allotment of season tickets before summer started. This year the club has sold more than 55,000 season tickets, 2,000 to 3,000 short of the previous two years. The waiting list has decreased from about 7,500 to 2,000, but that downturn isn't unusual. Some people have remained on the waiting list, which requires a non-refundable deposit, because they either can't afford seats this year or are waiting for better locations to open."

It looks like fans from Arizona should be able to get Cards season tickets before the 2008 NFL Season officially kicks off.

Denver Broncos Tickets for Single Games Available July 12, 2008

If you can't wait for the 10-plus year wait of the Denver Broncos Season Ticket Waiting List, the Denver Broncos announced that tickets for individual games during the 2008 season at Invesco Field at Mile High will go on sale beginning on Saturday, July 12, 2008. Because the Broncos have sold out 293 consecutive regular-season games dating back to 1970, ticket availability will vary, but a limited number of tickets will be available for all games beginning on July 12, 2008.

The Broncos offer a variety of price levels, which are detailed at the bottom of this release, as well as points of purchase for their fans. Included in the inventory available for the public are full-price tickets, half-price tickets, ADA tickets and club seat tickets.

In accordance with the legislation authorizing the construction of Invesco Field at Mile High, 2,000 half-price tickets will be available for purchase.
