In 2006, the University of Alabama added 9,000 new seats to Bryant-Denny Stadium, bringing capacity to 92,138. With enrollment increasing and the hiring of Nick Saban as head coach, tickets are very scarce. The Crimson Tide has a season ticket allotment of 48,000 tickets and they are completely sold out. There are also over 5,000 people on the Alabama Crimson Tide Season Ticket Waiting List creating a wait time of over five years because of low turnover. Faculty and staff have 4,500 seats allocated to them, but requests for 9,300 tickets came in, forcing a rationing of tickets. The student section contains 15,000 seats and is sold out for the season.
The only way to get Alabama Crimson Tide Season Tickets is to join Tide Pride. Tide Pride, the season ticket program, requires an annual donation of at least $80 for the right to buy season tickets at face value. Bigger donations mean better seats. The top tier season tickets require a $1,500-per-seat, per-year contribution. View last years Tide Pride Application.
