The Edmonton Oilers have a Season Seat Registry Waiting List for Season Tickets. The last I heard was that the list was around 2,000 people, but the waiting list turns over pretty quick because of the large number of people that drop off.
Edmonton Oilers Season Seat Registry Details
-A one-time Registration Fee of $200 per account is required to join the Season Seat Registry.
-An Administration Fee of $50 per account is required annually. This fee is non-refundable and is not applied against future purchases.
-You are not required at this time to make any decisions about your seat location or the quantity of seats you wish to purchase.
-You will receive a priority number indicating your priority position on the Season Seat Registry.
-When Season Seats become available to purchase, members will be given specific times to visit Rexall Place to make their seat selections.

Pretty funny how it says that people drop off quickly. I've been waiting 4 years. Maybe next year.
I've waited 4 years, no quick turnover here.
Seems to me that I move up roughly 100 spots a year.

"The Oilers, quite simply, desire a building that could allow them to sell another 2,000 tickets on 41 nights a year. They're chock full at 16,839 for every game - Tuesday marked the 134th consecutive sellout - and have 1,800 people on a waiting list for tickets. All 67 suites are full and they have demands for many more."
