New York Rangers Season Tickets Waitlist

The New York Rangers remain the hottest hockey ticket in the Big Apple. Season tickets sold out in an hour for 2007-2008 and there are over 12,000 on the New York Rangers Season Ticket Wait List. There is a slight turnover of season tickets year to year so be prepared to be on the wait list for awhile, I would think at least five years. Details of the New York Rangers Season Ticket Waitlist are as follows:

  • There are two separate waitlists...one for full season tickets and one for partial plan tickets.
  • There is a four ticket maximum per account for either plan.
  • A valid email address must be provided in order to participate in the waitlist program.
  • For Full Season Plans, a refundable $100 per seat deposit must accompany your form and it will be applied to your ticket purchase.
  • For Partial Plans, a refundable $50 per seat deposit must accompany your form.

For more information, you can visit the New York Rangers Season Ticket Wait List at the Rangers Official Website.

I joined the Rangers waitlist in June and I have not heard anything. A fried has 2 season tickets and he was offer 2 additional tickets. It seems like this list will not move for a long time if current ticket holders get first choice for additional seats.

I joined the Rangers waitlist last December for a partial plan. I got an email earlier in the year telling me I was in the low 400s (Don't want to post number here) in terms of the list. I wasn't offered anything for 2008-2009 if that gives any indication to how fast this list will move.

I was updated yesterday on my position. I'm the same one who posted I was in the low 400s three days ago. Now, I'm in the 190s.

Hopefully, I get something next year. Also, in the email, they said there are 1508 people on the partial season ticket waiting list.

I joined the full and Partial waitlists in June. I got an email yesterday telling me I am in the mid 900's out of 1120 people. They didn't say if that was the partial or full season list. I am pretty sure it is for the full season.

I just put my name on the full season waiting list. The rep i spoke to said it will be about a 3-4 year wait and that there where about 1200 people infront of me.

Do you guys think due to the bad economy the line will move faster? Do you think 3-4 years is realistic?

Thanks!

I joined the partial list in February/March 2008. I've spoken tto them a couple of times, and they tell me that I am around 900 out of 1508. They also told me that the list might move faster. I wonder if the renovation at MSG will price a few people out of the market, or if it will somehow make more seats available?
