Wimbledon 2008 Public Ballot Ticket Lottery

As long ago as 1924, the Wimbledon Club introduced a public ballot whereby the majority of Center Court 1 and 2 tickets are sold in advance.

The Public Ballot has always been substantially oversubscribed. Entry into the Ballot does not automatically entitle applicants to tickets for Wimbledon, but a place in the draw for a pair of tickets.

Successful applicants are selected at random by computer. It is not possible to request tickets for specific days or courts, as the day and court offered are also chosen randomly by a computerized selection process.

LTA Advantage members are automatically entered into an exclusive ballot which takes place on March 1st each year. The members' Wimbledon ticket ballot is under consideration for 2008.
