White Hart Lane has been home to the Tottenham Football Club since 1899. The Lane currently holds just over 36,000 fans. A new, proposed Tottenham Stadium will hold 60,000.
The Tottenham Season Tickets waiting list currently has 22,000 names on it, an increase of 4,000 fans since July, 2008. Also, membership in the club is approaching 70,000. With demand like this, it's time to build.
