My boyfriend and I got on the list in 2006 and were told we were #1159. We too were told we should have no problem getting the 4 tickets we wanted. Everyone we talked to in the ticket office was optimistic that many of the waiting list people would be very happy once the new stadium was built.

As of the letter we received last week (May 2008), we were told we did not get the tickets, and there was certainly no explanation or estimation of when we could even hope to be near the top of the list. The best part: the letter stated we are now #1060 on the list. That means we only moved up 99 spots! With approximately 6,000 more seats and a waiting list of over 5,000 people, they could only accommodate 99 PEOPLE???

For icing on the cake, we have friends who have had season tickets for at least 5 years, and they were rejected when they tried to add only 1 ticket to their order. The people at the Colts office told us the season ticket holders renewed at a 99% rate and they were ALL offered to add 2 seats and were accommodated by seniority level. Interesting, isn't it? The hypocrisy runs deep, and we believe this waiting list is a great big joke. We would like to find out what REALLY happened and who REALLY got the tickets. I will always be a Colts fan, but the ticket office has some serious explaining to do. Someone there doesn't know how to do their job, and it is blatantly obvious.

If anyone else wants to start a petition or learn more about this, I would love to hear about it on here. We are so angry and frustrated with the way we were treated, we'd really like some answers and maybe even some resolution.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2662537920662965170.post-69033573090981113132008-05-08T20:05:00.000-05:002008-05-08T20:05:00.000-05:002008-05-08T20:05:00.000-05:00Just a warning to to anyone wanting to get on the ...Just a warning to to anyone wanting to get on the season ticket waiting list - SAVE YOUR MONEY! I signed up a few years ago and currently have a priority number less than 1000. I was told last year I would probably get season tickets in the new stadium, as it had 6000 more seats than the RCA Dome.

However, instead of offering those 6000 seats to those of on the waiting list, they instead allowed existing season ticket holders to buy additional seats, and as a result, no one on the waiting list will get tickets this year (or likely for several more years).

It's hard to feel that this is fair to waiting list members when you see these season ticket holders buying them specifically for the purpose of re-selling them. I don't understand why a team like the Colts wouldn't implement a system like the Arizona Cardinals did when their season ticket base soared with the building of the new stadium. The Cardinals will allow existing season ticket holders to jump on the waiting list to purchase more seats but after the general public.

In my opinion, teams who charge people to be on the waiting list have an obligation to make a good faith effort to get those members season tickets. To allow season ticket holders to bypass the waiting list is not a good faith effort and by doing so, they are defrauding those of us who spent our money to get on the waiting list in the first place.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2662537920662965170.post-41064117868990309662008-05-08T13:21:00.000-05:002008-05-08T13:21:00.000-05:002008-05-08T13:21:00.000-05:00I signed up for the waiting list approximately one...I signed up for the waiting list approximately one month ago.
